The construction industry faces the challenge of reducing its environmental impact. This is why CROW, together with the working group, has developed the new CROW-CUR Guideline 4:2023 Reuse of structural precast concrete elements. prepared.
This guideline aims to provide clarity to the supply chain about what possibilities exist for structural reuse of concrete elements and how to secure this in a technical sense. It emphasizes the benefits of reuse, such as reducing material and energy consumption and promoting circularity. Important aspects of the guideline are frameworks for material use and the complete process from preparation to execution. The guideline is written for anyone dealing with reuse of precast concrete elements, such as architects, structural engineers, competent authorities, contractors, managers, demolishers and suppliers.
Nebest, Royal HaskoningDHV, Rijkswaterstaat, GBN, Heidelberg Materials and CROW are pleased to invite you to the launch of this guideline 'Reuse structural precast concrete elements'.
They invite you to the launch of the guideline, further explanation and the chance to experience reuse in practice at Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Heidelberg Materials in IJmuiden.
