B&R Construction Group holds job day in scaffolding

The Kempen construction sector is on the rise and the effects of this are being felt on all fronts. After two years of more than 100 recruitments each time, this trend continues. The number of open vacancies has never been so high and the number of job-seekers is at an all-time low. This calls for action. That is why B&R Bouwgroep is organizing a job day for the second time on Saturday 11/05. Reinforcements are sought for both office and job sites, both with and without experience. With the expansion of its headquarters, the Construction Group wants to make room for these future colleagues.

All-in on recruitment

Just this spring, everything was done at job fairs throughout Flanders to enthuse students about a career with the Kempen Construction Group. However, the focus is not only on school leavers. Last month, the job day in the offices of the subsidiary E. Rombaut kicked off a series of four job days at four different locations. May 11 opens B&R Construction Group the doors of its headquarters in Arendonk and on May 25 there will be the job day at a shipyard (De Streyp - Mechelen) of its subsidiary Brebuild. This fall, subsidiary Christiaens in Oostkamp (West Flanders).

Headquarters expansions

The Construction Group's growth is also manifesting itself in other areas. For example, the headquarters in Arendonk, home to all shared services, is gradually bursting at the seams. High time to provide it with two extra floors. The subsidiary Hooyberghs is responsible for the works and expects to complete them by the end of this year so that the extra floors can be put into use at the start of 2020, the anniversary year for B&R Bouwgroep. The Arendonk family business will then have been in existence for 25 years.
