Since 2006, Easypath Nederland BV has been developing prefab concrete elements that are connected via a wedge joint to form a single, smooth, flat cycle path. What started as an innovative idea has now grown into a well-established system that is widely used in the Netherlands and Belgium, from urban residential areas to dune areas. Sustainable innovations

Easypath continues to develop its product with solutions that respond to current social challenges. Thermopath® keeps paths free of ice and snow without the use of road salt, Reflexpath® increases visibility with a reflective, wear-resistant top layer, Climatepath® combines a cycle path with water storage, and Solarpath® even uses the path as a source of energy. Prefab concrete elements can also be fitted with gas-permeable openings. These subtle holes allow gas to escape naturally, preventing accumulation and making gas leaks easier to trace and measure. With these innovations, the cycle path is becoming more than just infrastructure: it is a multifunctional carrier of safety, climate adaptation, and energy transition.
