Thermopath® keeps paths free of ice and snow without the use of road salt, Reflexpath® increases visibility with a reflective, wear-resistant top layer, Climatepath® combines a cycle path with water storage, and Solarpath® even uses the path as a source of energy. Prefab concrete elements can also be fitted with gas-permeable openings. These subtle holes allow gas to escape naturally, preventing accumulation and making gas leaks easier to trace and measure. With these innovations, the cycle path is becoming more than just infrastructure: it is a multifunctional carrier of safety, climate adaptation, and energy transition.
