Making a large EPS foundation formwork that can also withstand high concrete pressure is virtually impossible. Thanks to innovative production techniques, IsoBouw managed to do just that with PowerKist XL.
Because of the ease and speed of processing, processors preferred lost formwork systems. To their own regret, they had to revert to traditional formwork for extra-large foundation sizes. This is because the lost EPS formwork could not withstand the large concrete loads involved. This forced use of traditional formwork
belongs to the past with the introduction of PowerKist XL. Thanks to PowerKist XL, a time-saving and higher-quality lost EPS formwork can now be chosen even for extra-large foundation sizes.
Choice of nearly 100 sizes
PowerKist (XL) is a three-part foundation formwork with loose bottom plates and side walls, which are equipped with unbreakable PS reinforcement strips. Thanks to these integrated reinforcement strips, the foundation formwork is extremely strong, and therefore very reliable. Sand backfilling is not necessary with this formwork. Because the PowerKist (XL) is three-piece, it is significantly easier and faster to process than traditional or U-shaped EPS systems.
The range expansion includes bottom plates in widths of 750 and 800 mm and side walls in heights of 800, 900 or 1,000 mm. In total, processors can now choose from no less than 98 sizes. With this, IsoBouw breaks two records. IsoBouw is the only supplier with such large sizes in lost EPS formwork. In addition, the company has the largest range available.
