GU4 led bulbs

There are led lights and there are more led lights. For all possible applications there is now LED lighting. From fluorescent tubes, through light bulbs and spotlights in the ceiling, to very special to perfectly highlight paintings or for use in display cases.

Light Emitting Diode

It is a semiconductor through which current is passed, creating light. Very little current, an important feature of LED lighting. Led bulbs last about 50 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs and, another advantage, they don't get as hot. So wise to use these led lights in as many places as possible. Everywhere

It can also be done everywhere by now, because LED lamps have been developed for almost all fittings:

• E27 fitting (the old-fashioned light bulb threaded fitting);
• E14 (small socket, like the E27 still designed by Edison);
• GU10 (for the much sought-after spotlights in ceilings);
• 3 or MR16 (the old 12 volt spotlight with transformer);
• GU4 or M11 for small spotlights in display cabinets, for example;
• G4 (including desk lamps with transformer);
• GX53 (in awkward places such as on a boat);
• G9 (the old-fashioned halogen);
• R7s (the bar lamp fitting in the construction lamp).

The gu4 led bulb mentioned in the title is designed specifically for a 12 Volt spotlight using a transformer. The transformer converts the 220 Volt voltage to a 12 Volt DC voltage. Due to the resulting low voltage this gu4 led widely used in bathrooms, kitchens and display cabinets. The led lamp gu4 can of course be ordered in all light colors and can also be dimmed with an led dimmer. The fitting consists of plug and swivel feet, which are 5.3 mm apart. The diameter of the spotlights is 35 mm and the voltage 12 V. The power of the led gu4 ranges from 1 to 10 watts (in incandescent language from 15 to 75 watts) and they are available as spot and reflector.
