Schöck Netherlands markets a new retrofit system with which large cantilevered concrete balconies can be realized in existing buildings.
By the Isocorf® technology combined with the Willems Anchor creates a sophisticated force transfer and the balconies are free of thermal leaks. A major advantage of the system is that the balconies can be stemless and retrofit from the crane.
When renovating buildings, there are increasing demands on the living comfort and energy performance of the building. The current balcony often poses a problem in this regard: it is out of date, too small or causes large thermal leaks in the building. In addition, the existing floor is often not suitable to support a large and heavy balcony. Schöck has solved this problem by using the Isokorf® RT and the Willems Anchor to distribute forces between two floors.
To assemble the balconies, each Iso basket requires® element requires only two holes to be drilled in the floor. The elements have a low height of 190 mm, making it possible to install them in almost any floor. With a special adapter plate, the balconies can be mounted within minutes. Adjusting the balconies is also very easy thanks to the Willems Anchor.
The retrofit solution from Schöck and Willems is also suitable for new construction. More information and installation instructions can be found on the Schöck website.
