Kivit steel construction in Elsloo chooses LiemarX, the flexible software solution for steel construction and steel building companies.

Project Leader LiemarX and Financial Manager at Kivit, Henk Jansen, comments: "We started the selection of an ERP package at the beginning of 2019 under the inspiring leadership of Riny van den Boorn. Kivit is a steel construction company which is particularly active in the field of Piping, Apparatus and Steel Construction.

Especially our Piping Department with Maintenance and Turn Arounds is still growing strongly. We often carry out these large projects, also called "stops," with large groups of people up to 250 FTEs. Every day we have 170 people at work. Their planning as well as project management and financial monitoring is becoming increasingly close.

Riny supervised the entire preliminary process and after a long list of potential providers, Liemar Software was accidentally added to the short list at a later stage. It quickly became clear that their system had many advantages over the others on the short list. LiemarX is mainly used by the larger companies and we are certainly one of them. Liemar has experience in our industry of Piping and Equipment and that is important to us. We saw that very clearly during the reference visits to companies that are using LiemarX as a solution.

After going through a case together in LiemarX as a test, we went deeper with Liemar and saw that the LiemarX software solution can mean a lot to us. LiemarX has very many different modules that are very important to us for our operations and which will save us a lot of time. In particular, we were looking for a complete ERP system and not a package that only supports us in the fabrication of steel structures.
