New EDI connection through the SCSN network

For the purpose of further digitalization in steel construction, Liemar has realized their first mutual EDI connection in cooperation with Ferross Staalbouw and ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions Benelux. This connection was established through the EDI network of SCSN.

Niels Oudenaarden, commercial director at Liemar: 'It is a next step in further digital cooperation within the metal and steel construction market. Due to the timely and good coordination, Ferross Staalbouw and ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions Benelux can exchange messages even more efficiently with a very limited change in working method. This saves a lot of time for both parties and reduces the risk of errors.

Automating for efficiency

This development fits perfectly with Liemar's vision of automation for greater efficiency in steel construction. Liemar likes to focus on issues such as challenges in project-driven steel construction, improving business processes with ERP, digitalization, Industrie 4.0 and dealing with a shortage of qualified personnel.

To celebrate the success of the new EDI connection, the first order was entered through the SCSN network while enjoying a piece of cake.
