Extreme demolition work requires a lot of power. Yet the new SDS-max combi and chisel hammers from Metabo manage to reduce them considerably. With powerful Brushless motors, an optimized impact mechanism and extremely high drilling speeds, they offer the highest demolition capacity in the market. In addition, the designers paid great attention to the machines' operators. With double vibration protection and effective dust extraction - certified by TNO - the new SDS-max hammers make heavy work significantly lighter. A Full Service package - available free of charge until December 31, 2019 - also guarantees you three years of no cost for the machine.
The new SDS-max combi hammers KHEV in the 5, 8 and 11 kg class - as well as the new SDS-max chisel hammers MHEV in the 5 and 11 kg class - feature powerful, robust Brushless motors. "Brushless motors have high efficiency and a long service life," says Enno Riemersma, Brand Manager of Metabo Netherlands. "In addition, the motors require little maintenance. Combined with the extremely powerful impact mechanism, the SDS-max hammers have high drilling speed and demolition capacity. With an uncompromising three-year warranty - which includes worn parts - Metabo guarantees a long service life for the machines."
SDS-max hammers with innovative dust extraction.
SDS-max hammers can be used for a wide variety of drilling and demolition jobs. But no matter what the demolition job looks like, it requires a lot of effort. "The heavy vibrations always make demolition work heavy and intensive," Riemersma knows. "For that reason, the new SDS-max combi hammers KHEV 5-40 BL, 8-45 BL and 11-52 BL as well as the chisel hammers MHEV 5 BL and 11 BL are now equipped with vibration dampers. The handle and motor part are decoupled from each other. In addition, an impact-absorbing counter mass reduces vibration. The result is a unique anti-vibration system that effectively counteracts large forces."
The dust extraction system is also innovative. Riemersma: "Dust extraction is a requirement nowadays; it is important for health. The ESA max dust extraction set can be used in the most diverse hammer drilling and chiseling applications, even when combined with different hammer drill and chisel attachments. Assembly is done manually and without tools. The drills and chisels can be changed without unplugging the dust extraction system."
Knowing that demolition jobs always need to be done quickly, Metabo offers absolute security regarding the functioning of the machines. With the Metabo Full Service package, all repair costs are covered within a three-year period. "So also repairs due to wear and tear," says Riemersma. "The Full Service comes from € 39, which assures the user of three years of service. The service is also fast. 95% of the machines offered leave the Service Center the same evening. With a team of 60 service employees, Metabo can guarantee this without any problems. Until December 31, 2019, the buyer of a Metabo SDS-max hammer receives the Full Service worth € 99 completely free of charge."
