FEREB is the leading association of specialists in concrete repair, protection and reinforcement in Belgium. Together with the governing body and members, we promote sustainable concrete repair of infrastructure and buildings. Sustainable concrete repair contributes to a better environment and the achievement of climate goals.

Mission 1
FEREB is a professional association representing the main companies operating in the concrete repair sector. FEREB defends the interests of its members in national and international working groups, commissions and consultation committees. To this end, FEREB cooperates with the competent Belgian bodies in this field (BENOR, WTCB, MOW, SPW, etc.).

Mission 2
FEREB promotes sustainable concrete repairs and to this end has developed a certification system based on the european standard EN 1504. This standard describes specifications on identification, performance and safety of products and systems used for structural and non-structural concrete repairs.

Mission 3
FEREB is committed to providing high-quality and sustainable concrete repair to various stakeholders such as architects, engineering firms, public and private clients, contractors, syndicates, co-owners of apartment buildings, etc. FEREB organizes seminars and workshops on a regular basis. The calendar of activities can be found on the website. FEREB actively participates in conferences, info-sessions and specialized fairs.

Objectives

The common goal is to promote quality and sustainable concrete repair by :

Apply process certification (levels A-B-C and D)
product certification requirement (in accordance with EN 1504)
maintain a strict code of professional ethics among its members
organizing study days for contractors, engineers, architects, technicians and other interested parties
active participation in technical studies and standardization committees (both national and international)
active regulatory support for products and systems
