Belgian formwork manufacturer installs brand new precast plant in Hungary

Ineton, one of Hungary's largest construction companies, based in Budapest and specializing in the design and construction of industrial, commercial and logistics buildings, has opened a new plant for the production of prefabricated concrete elements. It commissioned Construx to develop a complete package of molds and machinery for the production of precast walls, columns, stairs and prestressed beams.

Hydraulically operated adjustable jig

The client insisted on a flexible solution for the production of various prestressed I- and T-beams, with a maximum height of 2 m. Between 2 abutments Construx placed a 100 m long beam formwork divided into 4 sections of 25 m each. Each of these sections can be moved separately or combined with other sections. The opening and closing of the side panels is done hydraulically.

Prestress bed with modular panels

Construx also installed a formwork system to manufacture prestressed rectangular beams. It consists of a prestressing bed with modular panels of 3, 6 and 13 m in length. These side panels are mounted on the 100 m long and 2 m wide prestressing bed. The panels can be used for all types of prestressed elements with heights up to 600 mm and widths between 300 and 1,000 mm.

Hydraulically controlled battery formwork

For producing columns with foundation bases and multiple consoles, Construx has equipped its standard Bibat jigs with an adjustable base jig at the end of each bay. The Bibats consist of 2 fixed panels in the center and 2 movable panels on the outside. The panels are opened, closed and locked by hydraulic cylinders. Both hydraulically operated double battery jigs are 16 m long and each has 4 integrated slots for consoles. Each Bibat has 2 integrated, independently operating and hydraulically controlled jigs for the foundation bases. The third hydraulically operated Bibat battery jig has no adjustable footing jigs at the end of each bay.

Hydraulic tilting tables

The 3 tilt tables supplied by Construx have a length of 12 m and a width of 4.5 m. One of the tables is equipped with a 10 mm thick steel plate from 1 piece, the 2 other tilt tables have a wooden top. Tilting is done by means of 3 perfectly synchronized hydraulic cylinders. The construction of the tables consists of an upper part and a tilting frame, between which vibration dampers are fitted. This gives the tables a very even vibration pattern, with no energy loss in the frame or in the ground.

Fully electrically adjustable double stair moldings

These 2 Sidecaster stair templates are suitable for vertical production of stairs with up to 18 steps and a width of up to 1,600 mm. Each jig consists of a fully adjustable panel at a fixed position and a flat panel that can move sideways and back and forth. All up and down steps can be electrically adjusted in full synchronization.

Construx met the short lead time and the customer's requirement for a multifunctional, flexible and versatile solution for the manufacture of its concrete elements.

Shaping the Future of Concrete

As a fast-growing Flemish company, Construx aims to remain at the forefront of the consolidating market of formwork and mold manufacturers, as reflected in the baseline "Shaping the Future of Concrete. Construx has been a globally respected partner in this niche market since 2003. Engineering, production, project management, ... everything is done in-house and from one of the 7 branches in Belgium, the Netherlands or Romania. The combination of a flexible approach and a determined attitude guarantees that Construx is not only a supplier, but also a partner for its customers. With the acquisition of the German company Weckenmann earlier this year, the Belgian company Construx becomes the worldwide reference in formwork, machinery and installations for precast concrete elements. It is also fully committed to further expanding Construx Rental, the formwork systems rental division. With the three current rental depots and with participations in a Swiss and an Irish rental company, the foundations have been laid for further expansion in the coming years. The ambition is to have our own rental companies in the Netherlands, France and Great Britain within a few years.
