Innovative scion presented to the professional at world premiere

The efficient production of high-quality concrete is one of the most important aspects for the smooth and economic realization of any construction site. The super-mobile EUROMIX^®series, SBM has been the undisputed market leader and pioneer in the field of super-mobile power plants for more than 20 years. At the last edition of the Bauma trade fair, the specialist presented a world premiere of a new member of the family.  That one stood out immediately. The SBM EUROMIX^® 3300 SPACE builds on the existing features of the successful series, combining advanced technology with ergonomically optimized operation in a modern design.

The word "supermobile" is allowed at the EUROMIX^®-series are really taken literally. Since all products at SBM are developed to meet the stringent requirements of the user, the focus is on fast transport, quick set-up in 480 minutes and a ready-to-use concrete mass between different locations. Equipped with 3-axle chassis, the ready-to-use and transport-optimized modules are at the same time self-supporting trailers and independent components, which can be transported via public roads. This feature already makes the series unique compared to other similar systems, and the combination with the advanced and reliable mixing technology is decisive for many interested parties. By continuously investing in the further development of the successful combination of compact body and powerful technology, SBM has succeeded in turning the EUROMIX^®-system the leader in its class.

More comfortable operation for even better performance

In order to use the high-performance power plant even more efficiently, the successful technology was given a new look. The super-mobile SBM EUROMIX^® 3300 SPACE combines advanced technology and modular flexibility in a design with unprecedented space. The addition "SPACE" really does have a meaning here, and in more ways than one. The modern design is continued inside under the motto "form flows from function. Thus, the developers have succeeded in greatly improving the existing design with sensible interventions, without significant differences in dimensions and weight. Still, the developments are impressive. "Compared to other systems, this new concrete plant offers double the space for mixing and even 200% more area to walk or stand for service and maintenance," says DI Erwin Schneller, Managing Director of SBM Mineral Processing GmbH.

Synergies perfectly implemented

When developing this innovative optimized power plant, SBM wanted to implement the synergy effects as fully as possible. They succeeded in this as well. Due to the new "SPACE" design, for example, the concrete plant 15% makes less noise during operation. "By making better use of the available space, the concrete batching plant can be fully insulated so that no problems occur even in the colder winter months. This allows us to guarantee our customers optimal delivery of concrete at temperatures between -25 and 40 degrees," Schneller points out. "We have also completely reworked the dosing technology and use the latest motors, which means that the 15% plant uses less energy. Optionally, a reduction to 25% is even possible. In this way, we also want to reinforce our role as a pioneer in terms of sustainability and environmental friendliness." The plug-and-play principle, which ensures that the existing concrete plants in the series can be erected within 480 minutes, also remains in place with this new EUROMIX^® 3300 SPACE retained.

One of the highlights at the bauma trade fair

The new EUROMIX^® 3300 SPACE offers the user all the benefits of the EUROMIX^®series, known for more than 20 years as a trendsetter in the field of super-mobile concrete batching plants. That includes the machine's lifetime. "The very first EUROMIX^® is still in use today, somewhere near Moscow," Schneller concludes. "The new EUROMIX^® 3300 SPACE was one of the attractions at Bauma. There, visitors could experience our new concrete plant for the first time and discover how the new design provides unprecedented space: on the outside, but also inside."
