The machine was designed for the production of prestressed hollow-core floor elements and excels with its proven state-of-the-art technology and high ease of use. The X-Liner® FC is a fully automatic machine, easily adjustable and fully controllable. Its modular design facilitates maintenance and cleaning of this highly reliable machine.
The patented new screw design reduces wear and friction, ensuring longer life.
The "shark fin screws," with a patented shape reminiscent of a shark fin and designed to improve concrete compaction and increase production speed, has a large share in the machine's success. The secret behind this are the new shape tube system and the individual control of each screw, which also reduces wear and tear. Thanks to the special shape of the screw, the backward rotation of the material inside the machine can be reduced, requiring less power for compaction. The concrete flows more smoothly and is compacted faster so that the speed of the machine is also significantly increased. The reduced backward rotation also has a great impact on the life of the screws, which wear out much more slowly than other types of screws. The screws can also be adjusted individually. The use of form tubes makes height adjustments for the required thickness easy to make. They can also be cleaned very easily with water. Shark fin screws are available for all extruders for hollow floor elements.
The X-Liner® consists of a power supply unit, a concrete hopper and a product-specific extrusion module. It has a soft dynamic drive system thanks to the combination of motors, drives and a control unit. The noise level of the machine is particularly low. The feed modules can be disconnected quickly and easily, either mechanically or electrically without hydraulic devices. The concrete hopper can be supplied with a filling volume of 1.5 m³, 1.8 m³ or even 3.0 m³ and the filling level is permanently monitored.
The X-Liner® is equipped with a built-in PC. Production data are first stored locally and are then available for integration into the stabos web client, a product of Progress Software Development (part of the Progress Group) or into similar systems. The machine can be accessed remotely via a wireless network connection for data recording or intervention by an Echo Precast Engineering technician. The Extruder X-Liner® FC Technology can produce floor elements with different widths (depending on bed widths), i.e. 600 mm, 1,200 mm, 1,500 mm and 2,400 mm. This allows the production of a flexible range of cross-sections at high production speeds. Echo also offers conversion parts for floor elements of different heights so that the extrusion module does not have to be replaced each time.
