In Aalter is the site where coils and nets are produced. In addition to the strong market position in Belgium for nets and coils, Dubaere is also gaining a firm foothold with rebar in rolls at factories in the Netherlands, France and Germany. That the processing of reinforcing steel in coils has been growing steadily in recent years should surprise no one. Coils can be processed much more efficiently, ergonomically and cost-effectively than bar material.

Wire in rolls and concrete nets

Concrete iron in coils is available in A and B grade (ribbed and dented). We are talking about cold-drawn coils that are available in various diameters and coil weights. The fact that Dubaere processes the rolls produced in its own net production and bending plant guarantees extremely good quality and processability. Always with a finger on the quality pulse!

As a producer of reinforcement netting, Dubaere always strives to maintain a stable stock of standard material from which deliveries can be made either just-in-time to construction sites or by full load to stockyards. Efficiency and flexibility are central to this: good service at the right price. 

All products are continuously tested in the in-house laboratory to meet various quality requirements. The steel produced is subjected to various tests, including elongation and tensile, aging, rib geometry, etc. in order to guarantee constant and superior quality. This continuous thorough monitoring has resulted in quality certificates for Belgium (benor), the Netherlands (komo), France (afcab) and Germany (mpa).

Versatile bending center

At the bending plant, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, customers can obtain all customized construction steel. The reinforcing steel is prepared on request and on a project-by-project basis, according to plan and element. The bending center provides the exact quantities of nets, spacers, loose reinforcement to size, bilge plates, etc. With a view to reducing labor time on site, the reinforcement can already be prefabricated welded.
