Concrete Event 2021 | Concrete Event will be moved to 2022

To our great disappointment, we are forced to cancel the 2021 Concrete Event on Wednesday, Nov. 17 and Thursday, Nov. 18, due to government regulations.

The government measures taken call for meetings with large groups of people to be kept to a minimum. Within the current measures, we cannot organize the Concrete Event as we envision it where knowledge sharing, knowledge gaining and knowledge making between large groups of people are central. The event will therefore be moved to November 2022.

Keynote Frans Timmermans

The social challenge we face as an industry cannot be moved to 2022. On Wednesday, November 17, we are therefore organizing a Studio Beton broadcast to which we cordially invite you. This broadcast will take place online from 09.00 - 10.00 hours. The message of Frans Timmermans followed by an in-depth discussion will be broadcast this morning. Participation is offered free of charge by the Concrete Association. More about this broadcast will follow in the coming days.

Concrete award ceremony

Due to this development, the presentation of the 2021 Concrete Prize cannot take place on Thursday, November 18. Of course, we will not wait a year to present this prestigious award! Therefore, the awards will be presented in early 2022 at a time to be determined. More about the ceremony will follow later. Keep a close eye on our communication channels. The nominees will of course be informed personally.

We are very sorry that the 2021 Concrete Event cannot take place this year. Of course, we will not sit still until November 2022. In 2022 we will organize various activities in which bringing knowledge and industry together is of paramount importance. We hope to meet you then!
