The program for the 22nd edition of the Bouw Compleet trade fair at Evenementenhal Hardenberg is taking shape. Earlier it was already known that the exhibition concept has been changed. On the basis of the renewed concept, a program is now being compiled that fits in with this. We would like to present the following items in advance: a Friday afternoon drink with live music, abseiling from a scaffold, the Future Square, a Pub Quiz and insight into the theme of Safe Working.
During Bouw Compleet on Wednesday 9, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 October 2019, exhibitors will present their new concepts, products and services. For example, BMN Bouwmaterialen will tell more about their latest products and innovations in their own lounge. Furthermore, Van Dijk Woongroep presents their innovative project WOOWN and entrepreneurial organization Zelfstandigen Bouw provides self-employed people with answers to legal and entrepreneurial questions. At their stand they will also give extra attention to the topic of Work disability for self-employed people. They developed AOV Bouw: a concept where a group of self-employed people help each other in case of disability.
Due to the new opening days of Bouw Compleet (Wednesday through Friday), for the first time there will be a Friday afternoon drink on the exhibition floor. During this so-called VrijMiBo there will be live music by the band Say Cheese in hall 3. In this hall, entertainment and networking come together. In addition to the VrijMiBo, Volandis will host a fun activity focusing on safe working. Visitors can challenge each other through a game element and at the same time receive tips on how to work safely and healthily. In the same hall 3, there will also be a pub quiz every day in which participants can win a handy construction gadget. Furthermore, visitors can experience what it is like to work safely at great heights by abseiling from a Matemco scaffold.
New at Bouw Compleet is the Future Square where supply and demand for personnel come together. Trade fair organizer Easyfairs is inviting students (who are undergoing vocational training) to visit the fair so they can orient themselves to the job market. Surrounding the Toekomstplein are several exhibitors who will help them do so, including training centers and secondment and employment agencies. For example, Bouwmensen Friesland, Praktijk Uitzendbureau, CTS Techniek and Opstap Personeelsdiensten are present here. In addition, visitors to this plaza will be able to view job vacancies from participating exhibitors and talk to them directly.
This past summer, the fair organizers visited several construction sites in the north and east of the Netherlands to draw attention to the trade fair. For example, several construction companies were treated to ice cream and bitterballen during their work. Moreover, they were personally invited to visit the fair in October.
