The Advisory Board consists of prominent figures from the construction and real estate sector and individuals from outside the sector with a great affinity for the subject. The Advisory Board will meet twice a year to bring together knowledge, insights and networks and further sharpen DGBC's role. The first online meeting took place at the end of January.
The Advisory Board was established not only to provide advice, but certainly also to open doors with key networks and organizations for the benefit of new developments. In this way, DGBC hopes to reach new parties and create even more impact.
DGBC is pleased with the commitment of those who wish to serve:
Annemarie van Doorn, DGBC director: "The urgency to accelerate sustainability in the built environment is enormous. That is why it is important to join forces with these sustainable leaders so that we can take even bigger steps. Moreover, the Advisory Board consists of a nice diverse group of people, and through this composition they will make a great contribution to the creativity and vision of DGBC.
Rutger Schuur, Chairman of the DGBC Board adds: "The Advisory Board consists of a diverse group of people, from diverse backgrounds, who all have the ambition to make the built environment more sustainable. They set the new standard in the construction and real estate market and they create sustainable examples. This inspires the market to accelerate the transition to sustainable 'Paris Proof' buildings. DGBC wants to use the expertise of the Advisory Board, their network and their connecting power in this transition. I am proud that this group of sustainable leaders wants to commit to DGBC."
