“Injections and other techniques for waterproofing concrete structures”
During this seminar, our experts will share their knowledge with you based on practical examples.

- 1 p.m.: Reception at Buildwise.
- 1:30 p.m.: Opening of the seminar
- 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Bram Vanhauwere, Technical Specialist Buildwise: ‘”Underground concrete structures: towards a better definition of density classes”: Status of the reworking of Technical Information (TV) 247 in relation to the waterproofing of concrete structures and explanation of the density classes.
- 2 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. : Bert Kriekemans, Consultant Tekinject: “Injections with polyurethane and acrylic resins: techniques and applications”: practical and technically sound introduction to injection techniques with polyurethane and acrylic resins. Topics covered include crack injections of bilge seams and expansion joints, screen injections and soil injections
- 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Olivier Suerickx, Managing Partner Penetron Benelux: “Actively Protecting Waterproof Structures.” In this presentation, we dive into Penetron's crystalline technology, which reinforces concrete structures from the inside out and keeps them waterproof. Discover how we build sustainable, future-proof solutions together.
- 15:00 - 15:30: Stefan Colpaert, Senior Product Manager Spetec: “Waterproofing: Think twice!”: Different solutions regarding preventive and curative measures for waterproofing concrete structures. Which choice to make in function of site conditions?
- 3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Coffee Break
- 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Demonstration of injection techniques: Philip Kaplan and Tom van der Velde, Tekinject: Injections with Tekinject polyurethane resins into concrete and of soil injections for waterproof screens (cut-off against groundwater) and soil stabilization (increased bearing capacity, limited settlement, reinforce foundations) with injection pumps from Euromat.
