Prefabricated turnkey homes. Innovative, efficient and affordable

Enthusiasm, expertise and inventiveness. That's what visitors to the Bouwbeurs found when they visited the OLBECON and OLCAS booth. "There is a great demand for (affordable) housing and for parties who can build or supply these homes. OLBECON and OLCAS have answers to both questions."

Speaking is Johan Oltvoort, director of OLBECON, a specialist in concrete structures and OLCAS, a specialist in concrete structures. OLBECON stands for precast concrete floors and walls for residential and commercial construction. During the Bouwbeurs, the company presented its total assortment in this field using photos and samples. Surprising and well-considered are the products of OLCAS. This is perhaps somewhat less true for the concrete structures for single and double dwellings. But all the more so for the so-called "bloqz.

Bloqz
'Bloqz' is the product name used by OLCAS for its prefabricated turnkey homes. In the development of these homes, truly everything has been thought of. For example, the houses are remarkably affordable, quickly available, sustainable, circular, energy-neutral, heat-accumulating, relocatable and ready for the interior. These qualities make the bloqz distinctive from regular cascade homes. "With regular hull houses we are talking about shell construction," Oltvoort explains. "Bloqz are developed from efficiency and good living. They have three bedrooms, making them suitable for the average family. They have doors, frames and windows. The house is literally floor-ready."

Flat organization
Although the bloqz - like OLBECON and OLCAS' other products - have been fully developed, OLCAS remains involved in the entire process, from engineering to assembly. "We know what's going on in construction. Contractors are especially helped by manufacturers and suppliers who take full responsibility for their product. We respond to that. We control the process from A to Z and keep the organizations flat. If the contractor has a question about a drawing, he gets the draftsman on the line directly. Visitors to our booth will also notice this. Everyone knows what is going on in both companies and shares the knowledge and enthusiasm."
