DEMAN Smart Overhead Cranes has been building overhead cranes (or: rolling bridges, as in Flanders) since 1969 and is the innovation market leader in Belgium. The company will once again be present at the Bedrijvencontactdagen Kortrijk 2025 in December. In addition to an overview of its extensive range of lifting and crane solutions, it will also give a sneak peek at Mello25: the future-oriented expansion project that focuses on flexibility, sustainability and growth. Visitors are welcome in Hall 2, Booth 2107 for an inspiring look at both today's solutions and tomorrow's vision.
“At our booth, we will offer a practical and clear overview of our overhead cranes (single girder, double girder, extra compact and suspension cranes) and a wide range of cranes, including grab cranes, light crane systems, magnetic cranes, gantry cranes, process cranes, wall-mounted overhead cranes and slewing cranes,” lists managing director Kurt Deman. “Our services - maintenance, repairs and overhauls - are also discussed in detail, as the life cycle management of hoisting equipment is an essential part of our expertise. Furthermore, we use video images to give visitors a glimpse of completed projects, in which the concrete benefits of our solutions are clearly demonstrated. Our goal is always to provide practical, safe and efficient lifting systems to relieve the shop floor and increase productivity.”

A real eye-catcher at DEMAN's booth is the Nova² hoist. “The latest generation sets new standards in load handling and offers an ideal combination of safety, efficiency and functionality,” says Deman. “We give visitors the chance to feel and experience for themselves the ergonomic and safe design of the hook block, as well as the synthetic lifting cable. This cable represents a durable, lightweight and robust alternative to traditional cable variants. An innovation that will undoubtedly attract a lot of curious connoisseurs. The lower maintenance requirements and long service life of synthetic cables can lead to significant savings in operating costs and high crane system efficiency.”

These smart features ensure shorter cycle times, reduced wear and tear and increased safety on the shop floor.
But there is more to discover at DEMAN's booth during the Bedrijvencontactdagen Kortrijk 2025. “For example, we are putting the spotlight on our advanced cable angle detection and associated smart features,” says Deman, who immediately adds several examples:
“These smart features ensure shorter cycle times, reduced wear and tear and increased safety on the shop floor.”
At the fair, DEMAN will also give a sneak peek at Mello25, the company's extensive expansion project at its current location in Sint-Eloois-Winkel. “With the (re)construction we are betting on flexibility in production, storage and office spaces, a sustainable and CO2-neutral infrastructure and future-oriented growth in capacity, efficiency and visibility along the E403. Project Mello25 shapes what we have pursued for years: sustainable innovation with responsibility and progress as its foundation,” concludes a proud Deman.
