Making a structural contribution to nitrogen deposition and developing and deploying 'cleaner' equipment. That is the basis of the cooperation between G. Van der Ven B.V. Aannemingsbedrijf and machine supplier Ahlmann Nederland B.V.. On November 13, Huibert Van der Ven and Arjan van den Oord ambitiously signed the cooperation contract. With this both companies confirm that they certainly want to achieve the sustainability targets set from the European legislation in the form of Stage V. But together they are going one step further!
The motto that Van der Ven introduced in 2020 is given even more substance with this collaboration. "Making the world more beautiful by realizing sustainable projects that are future-oriented with social added value. CO2 reduction and nitrogen deposition are essential in this," says Huibert van der Ven, director of the innovative contracting company from Brakel. "With Ahlmann Netherlands, we have found a unique partner to achieve that goal. Together we go a step further than European legislation, because we see the importance of an even cleaner future and in this we are happy to take our responsibility and a pioneering role."
With that slogan, Ahlmann Netherlands confirms its ambition to market "cleaner" machines. "Our multifunctional machines can do more work with fewer travel movements and thus be used more efficiently. A good example is the Ahlmann AZ95f swing loader. This one is already Stage V, but we are going even further in reducing emissions through this machine!".
Both entrepreneurs speak with appropriate enthusiasm of coming up with new high-profile initiatives in the near future. Van der Ven contributes to this from its knowledge and practical experience and the signals it receives from the stakeholders within the sustainable projects it handles. At Ahlmann they seamlessly connect to this market demand and various innovations that respond to this are underway. These include new techniques to further reduce emissions from machines. Developments in the field of alternative fuels are also in full swing.
"Behind the scenes, we have been working on Stage V and the urgent requests from Van der Ven and others in the market for renewal and innovation in the field of CO2 reduction and nitrogen deposition for some time. It is therefore great that by intensifying our contact with Van der Ven we are now gaining momentum. 1 plus 1 really is 3 through the cooperation and that is particularly welcome for Van der Ven and Ahlmann, but also for the market as a whole," said Arjan van den Oord.
