On October 23, Liemar, in cooperation with Staalbouw DtB, is organizing an interactive knowledge session focused on the theme "Work in Progress in Steel Construction. There is room for 20 participants - and half of the available places have already been given up - so register quickly!

About the knowledge session: valuation of and for work in progress

When it comes to work in progress, (too) many steel fabricators work between hope and fear. Understanding and keeping track of the status of projects requires a lot of work and is not always current and reliable. There is insufficient insight into what has already happened and what still needs to be done.

Consider, for example, these questions:

• How do you assess project progress (in time and money) in an unambiguous and consistent manner?
• How do you ensure an accurate determination that takes into account the progress and insights available in different departments? And how do you avoid wishful thinking or overestimating risks?
• How do you anticipate (changes in) size and complexity of projects?
• What steer for your organization does the work in progress actually give you?

With this knowledge session we will support you in turning this challenge into a steering tool, allowing you to improve your returns. Based on his managerial and operational business experience in project-oriented companies, Pieter Dekkers will give his vision on the subject as an independent speaker. We would like to show you what our OHW solution looks like and works in steel construction. This includes the question: how do you use operational tools to contribute to improving your insight?
