The 2020 NOA Flooring Day, which was to take place on April 2, will be rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24.
The discussion about whether or not the NOA's annual Flooring Day would take place because of the corona virus has been going on for some time. Last week the organization of the Flooring Day informed all exhibitors and suppliers that they were considering moving the day to September. The responses received spoke volumes. The ban on organizing larger events was ultimately the deciding factor.
Meanwhile, the organization of Vloerendag 2020 continues as usual, and the most important networking event for the Dutch flooring industry will continue unchanged atThursday, Sept. 24, 2020 in the NOA Afbouwcentrum in Veenendaal. Rob van Boxtel, association manager at NOA and driving force behind the Flooring Day is especially relieved that a decision has been made: "I am happy that the uncertainty is now out of the air. I understand from almost all exhibitors and suppliers that they will be there on September 24, so it will be a wonderful day. Right now, safety and health come before everything and I understand that."
