From January 1, 2026, an important step will be added: the company's own line of EPS boxes.
The new EPS coffin line, produced by Hordijk, fits the way Augustine works: with service in delivery, market-based in price and a mindset of go-getters. The company will start with two models - the U-box and the V-box (vorstrand box) - and expand in the second quarter of 2026 with a 3-piece variant: the D-box. The products were developed based on experience on the construction site, looking closely at what can be done faster, simpler and more practical.
The D-box was developed with practical knowledge. This means that careful consideration was given to the benefit to be gained for the people who work with it on a daily basis. The result is a sturdy and well thought-out box that is pleasant to work with and contributes to safety and overview on the construction site.
The boxes can be used with both wooden rules and pull pins, so each user can decide what best suits their working methods. The draw pins have also been further developed and reinforced, providing extra stability. All boxes are available in compressive strengths of 100, 200 and 300 KPA, depending on the load and application.
Ease of use is also evident during assembly. The boxes have a grid with saw lines, which makes shortening or making cut-outs - for pipes and feedthroughs, for example - quick and precise. For mounting the corners, the company comes up with a new solution: the use of EPS screws and tie rods ensures that the corners can no longer move.
In addition to good products, Augustine also offers a reliable logistics network. The company delivers daily to more than one hundred locations throughout the Netherlands. This also applies to the new EPS crates: these are delivered within a maximum of four working days, standard with a cage trailer, and can be ordered from as little as one piece. Because of the national coverage, construction sites in every region can count on the same speed and service.
