Meco Metal N.V. will grow with LiemarX ERP solution

Last Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, Meco Metal N.V. signed the cooperation agreement with Liemar Software for the purchase of LiemarX ERP. LiemarX is the ERP software solution for the steel building and steel construction industry.

Harry Seijkens, business manager, indicates

 "We are a rapidly growing organization in need of a good fully integrated Project & Production Management solution. This will allow us to further expand our organization and serve our customers even better.

Of course, we were already equipped with the necessary software, but it was outdated and did not fit well with our new requirements. ERP is important to us for the future, not just a production solution, but our entire organization, all our employees working together on projects. We want all the important needs for our company to be in one package that all our employees can use and not all kinds of separate applications attached to each other. Everyone, from estimator to welder, contributes their important part to this, because we are a team at Meco.

We will start the implementation next year so that we can start working with it soon after the construction period. Methodology

Steel structures are calculated according to the building or project where they will be used.

Meco Metal has the capabilities to make the relevant calculations for complex steel structures. On the basis of these calculations, the steel structure is drawn by means of CAD Cam software programs. This software ensures the compilation of so-called NC files which, via the new ERP system LiemarX, control the numerically controlled machines. This guarantees perfect custom execution. The processes are certified according to CE Marking according to EN 1090.

The welders are certified to the EN287-1 standard and ensure smooth and aesthetically pleasing welds that meet the most stringent Belgian and German inspection requirements.

The structure is blasted with steel grit to a purity level SA 2.5 and after welding, can be painted in our own workshop, or galvanized elsewhere.

New and first choice commercial steel is always used for the profiles, according to standard EN10025, unless otherwise requested.
