In 2018, our industry association Bouwen met Staal commissioned World Steel to conduct a market survey in the Netherlands.

The data of this study was obtained through a digital questionnaire sent to steel construction companies. The list of steel construction companies was compiled by Building with Steel and approached by an independent research firm. The questionnaire was completed by 140 respondents and consists of questions about steel production, the degree of automation and use of software in the organization, and development in the market.
