Prefabrication plays an important role in the construction industry. BIM4Production's software makes the BIM models of ongoing projects transparent and translates them into the manufacturer's production requirements.
Data is delivered so that machines, robots and people in production know exactly what, how and when to make it. In addition, manufacturers can choose to have the software determine the most ideal prefab order. And finally, BIM4Production ensures smart logistics.
BIM4Production began in 2020 as a platform for the concrete industry, but has since become a platform for all markets. "We are able to help any precast element manufacturer make the translation from the BIM model to the unique element to drive and optimize production flow."
The latest step within the platform is: the Elements App. Thanks to this app, paper working drawings are replaced by the digital version. With the advantage that the drawings are always up-to-date, can be viewed anywhere and allows manufacturers to check the quality at any time in the process. With the Elements App from BIM4Production you are also ready for the Quality Assurance Act. This is because the app digitally shows you all the individual production elements of a project, for example, walls, floors, steel elements or electrical bundles. These are provided with a quality log at each step in the production process via quality questions. You can even capture and save photos and quality notes for each unique element per quality question, creating a complete Wkb logbook. On Oct. 12, during an inspiring knowledge session at the PREFAB fair in Den Bosch, BIM4Production will launch the Elements App.
