Edenya. Zo heet de nieuwe botanische serre van Pairi Daiza. Met een grondoppervlakte van maar liefst 40.000 m2 en een hoogte van 25 meter is Edenya de grootste tropische serre ter wereld. Ze wordt de nieuwe thuis voor planten en verscheidene dieren. De impressionante constructie werd gebouwd door Deforche Construction Group uit Izegem en nam 3,5 jaar in beslag. “Wat we hier hebben gerealiseerd, is ongezien”, stelt CEO Jeroen De Cock. “Het eindresultaat is indrukwekkend en illustreert ons technisch vernuft. Dit zal ook nieuwe deuren voor ons openen.”
