The bocad user day: launch of bocad 2026

On Thursday, November 13, Schuller & Company's annual bocad user day took place. During this meeting, the latest release - bocad 2026 - was presented.

Attendees were introduced to the technical innovations implemented in this version. These developments focus mainly on centralized data management, more efficient modeling and better coordination between design, work preparation and production.

New features in bocad 2026

The update introduces a number of features that further support the drawing process, collaboration and management of model information. These features contribute to a more uniform way of modeling, less duplication of effort and better insight into project progress. Among others, the following components were discussed:

• OneProject - central environment for model information, drawings and project communication.
• TeamWork - work simultaneously on the same project with automatic synchronization.
• Cloning - identical parts remain linked, requiring changes to be made only once.
• SmartDraw - overview of all drawings within a project, including status monitoring.
• Web viewer - sharing 3D models via QR codes, without additional software.
• Shortcuts - customizable shortcuts to suit individual working methods.
• BCF support - enhanced open communication with other BIM platforms.
