An independent engineering / consulting firm, specializing in inspection, in-depth technical research and advice as well as project management in construction, infra, industrial and hydraulic engineering. Asset management is in our DNA and has been embedded within the organization since its establishment in 1988 with Nebest's role in the creation of risk-based inspection and management. Anno 2026 we serve a wide variety of clients within the entire construction column from our centrally located Vianen office with over 270 employees. In this way we contribute daily to a sustainable and constructively safe built environment.
Our specialism and integral services enable us to support clients throughout the project cycle and in all asset life cycles. Here, our advice forms the common thread for establishing maintenance strategies and our maintenance plans the basis of management methodologies.
With a healthy combination of theoretical knowledge and pragmatic execution of studies, our consultants provide the insights needed to reach decisions on the maintenance, preservation and reuse of existing assets. Our specific knowledge in the field of materials, residual life analyses and structural safety is strengthened by specialist materials research in our own laboratory. Our colleagues in the field also have advanced measuring equipment that can be used to image unique material properties of a wide variety of objects. As Nebest, we continue where others stop and offer our clients practical answers to their often (technically and financially) pressing questions.
Nebest's specialists also have extensive knowledge and experience which are required for a correct approach when investigating and repairing monumental constructions. With monumental constructions it is often important to preserve the character of the object and to keep it as close as possible to its original appearance.
