Meco Metal and LiemarX: passing ERP audit with flying colors

Meco Metal, part of the Altez Group, recently received a visit from financial regulators. The company auditors conducted a comprehensive and precise audit. Meco Metal has been working with LiemarX, the ERP package for steel and metal construction companies, since 2020. The organization therefore passed the audit with absolutely no problems. Harry Seijkens, General Manager of Meco Metal: 'Our ERP system LiemarX has been running flawlessly since the seamless implementation and gives us the tools, insights and growth we need.'

Vera Vannuffelen, Process and Administration Department of Meco Metal, explains the design and conduct of the audit. 'The financial supervisors audit the accounts of the Altez Group, of which we are part. They came to check that everything is regular and documented. That means they request our procedures and check whether interactions between the companies and with customers are substantiated with documents.'

'Roughly speaking, you can divide the audit into two parts. The first part concerned the ERP package LiemarX, its operation and our use of it. So this concerns the financial and procedural side rather than the production side. The second part concerned Liemar's document management, checking regular documentation and related mail exchanges. Thanks to LiemarX and our use of it, we passed the audit with flying colors on both parts.
