Pragmatic, flexible and with its feet on the ground, Normec NCK offers a total package of products and services in the field of certification. This specific activity includes various management system and product certifications, two branches of the sport with which the organization serves clients in construction, infrastructure and beyond. This is done by a team of about thirty specialists, who work every day to achieve a result that really helps the client move forward. Launched in 2007, Normec NCK, part of Normec, together with the other Normec entities, offers a range of products and services to service a diverse customer base to perfection. Within the Beverwijk-based company, the emphasis is on a variety of certifications related to management systems and products. Providing high quality customized services is paramount. "Rectifying under the Normec flag, we have all the facilities and expertise around various certification matters that help the customer take a serious step forward," said Seigers. "We are perfectly equipped in all respects to provide construction and infrastructure companies with the desired certification. The speed we offer is a nice plus in this regard. Normec NCK is a relatively small company. Therefore we can switch quickly and offer a personal approach. Something our clients really appreciate."

From good to better

At Normec NCK, they leave nothing to chance. To best meet customer needs and work according to the various standards requirements, the company uses a well thought-out quality management system. But good can always be better. Hence, the knowledge and know-how present is constantly being expanded. An initiative that is combined with a razor-sharp focus on the market. "We continuously anticipate the needs of our customers," says Seigers. "In terms of products and services, but also when it comes to our approach. We continuously improve our performance. In recent years, for example, we have invested heavily in the quality of our own auditors. We also hold regular harmonization meetings, during which we talk to each other internally and share our best practices, among other things. Furthermore, we are well on the way to developing a system that allows clients to closely monitor the status of their certification process. In short, the bar is getting higher and higher."   

Safety as a basis

Normec NCK offers a large number of related certifications. The company is extremely strong in VCA (VGM Checklist Contractors) and is the designated specialist in certification for the Safety Ladder and the CO2 Performance Ladder. Regarding the latter, Normec NCK was even the very first certification body to be accredited by the RvA to certify all five steps of this standard. But also when it comes to product certifications, Normec NCK has everything to offer. An example of this is the BRL-SIKB 12000, the certificate that covers work carried out under the groundwater table and counts as a recognized piece of evidence in accordance with the Wbb, Wtw and Wm.
