A few weeks ago, the National Security Council decided that fairs may resume from September 1, with no limit on the absolute number of visitors. And from surveys, there is a very great need for personal contact between exhibitors and their customers on the occasion of the fair. Therefore, the organization is pleased to confirm once again that the Techni-Mat fair can and will go ahead as planned on October 7 and 8!
After months of video conferences, chats, emails and other technological tools, the urge for personal contact between customers and suppliers is greater than ever. Even in the structural engineering and infrastructure sector, where contractors, engineering firms and governments are still looking for innovative ideas, solutions and products. Time and again it turns out that personal contact, where the customer can see what it's about, is the most efficient. This is why a trade fair like Techni-Mat is a crucial link for both suppliers and customers. Trade shows are therefore the ideal platform to quickly and efficiently present and discover those novelties.
Of course, there is an understanding of the cold feet that may be felt when the first fairs reopen this fall. Organizers and hall operators are therefore making every effort to organize fairs in a perfectly safe manner. This is done according to the trade protocol that you here you can consult. Starting on page 22, you will find all relevant information about trade shows. All visitors and exhibitors are registered and counted, ensuring security at all times. In cooperation with Kortrijk Xpo, a clear scenario was worked out, with more space on the exhibition floor, very spacious seminar rooms, maximum cleaning and disinfection, mapped out walking routes, mouth masks are made available, separate entrance and exit, ventilation,...
With visitor registrations running smoothly and 123 exhibitors registered, Techni-Mat has everything it needs to be a success. The experience will perhaps be slightly different from trade shows in the past. We see mainly technical profiles registering as visitors. So it will mainly be visitors who are really looking for those novelties, combined with attending some seminars. In any case, the content, commercial and technical-business part of the fair will get all the attention.
In any case, the organization looks forward to warmly welcoming all exhibitors and visitors on Oct. 7 and 8!
