At the beginning of October, Niels Oudenaarden started as sales manager at Liemar Software. Niels is new in ERP-land, but very familiar with steel construction: 'With ten years of experience in steel construction practice, I speak the language of steel. I know the processes, pitfalls and issues of the industry. Now I want to help steel building and metal construction companies increase their returns with smart ERP software.'
Although he had not worked with LiemarX before, Niels already feels like an ambassador. 'It was a feast of recognition. The entire steel construction process is in this package, so everything quickly falls into place. You immediately notice that the software was developed specifically for our industry. An important feature is the project-based work. Having worked as a project manager for many years, I know the dynamics that steel construction projects are subject to. These dynamics have an impact on the business and LiemarX provides a lot of insight into this.
For the time being, Niels will mainly focus on Liemar Software's Dutch customers. Both new and existing customers, so there is also an account manager aspect to his job. And he is looking forward to it. What appeals to me about Liemar is the focus on cooperation with the users of our software. It's about helping each other, partnership and connection. That suits me very well as a person.'
'Precisely because I know the industry, I would also like to help think about further development of LiemarX. By having a lot of contact with (potential) users, I can identify questions in the market at an early stage. Seeing opportunities and seizing them together with customers only makes our ERP package stronger.'
