Platform on concrete and steel in construction
On Thursday, September 29, Concrete Association is launching a new event concept: Concrete Café. Four times a year, Betonvereniging will organize this event. Every year, Betonvereniging organizes the big Concrete Event where over 1,500 professionals meet, get in touch with companies and can participate in the conference program. The Concrete Café is a spin-off of the Concrete Event where there is room for 75-100 people and further discusses the challenges for the future.
Meeting colleagues within the concrete (construction) industry and exchanging knowledge about current topics that concern you? That is what the Concrete Café is all about! This event is the place for professionals who want to get everything out of concrete, now and after 2030. The trick is to think big and start small. Everything starts with that first step.
In 2019, 2020 and 2022, the theme 'Panorama Concrete' was the focus of the Concrete Event. With this choice, Concrete Association is responding to the government theme 'Panorama Netherlands'. In it, the College of Governmental Advisors (CRa) encourages looking at the layout of our country for the next thirty years up to 2050 with an overarching view. During the Concrete Café, concrete attention will be paid to and zoomed in on the challenges for 2030. During each Concrete Café, one of the following topics will take center stage under the main theme of CO2 reduction:
The first edition of the Concrete Café will take place in Utrecht on Thursday, September 29, 2022. All current information about the first edition, including the program content and location, can be found on our website www.betoncafe.nl. Registration is possible from the end of August. Please note that there are a limited number of places available.
