'Panorama Concrete, the Floor'

Concrete Association goes from offline to online! The Concrete Day and Concrete Experience normally take place in November and on location, but due to the uncertainties surrounding COVID-19 will be moved to November 2021 in physical form. Of course, Concrete Association does not want November to go unnoticed! Hence, it is organizing the online Concrete Event 2020.

Concrete Event 2020 is a unique online event for professionals, students and teachers that can be attended from the office or home. The core values of sharing knowledge, gaining knowledge and making knowledge are central to this event. On Thursday, November 5, 12, 19 and 26, Concrete Association will organize an interactive program in the mornings, put together by program committees and partners. In addition to the substantive program, there will also be room to meet new contacts and existing relations during the network carousel and on the digital exhibition floor. All this of course at a safe distance.

Last year, the theme 'Panorama Concrete, an introduction' was the focus of Concrete Day. With this choice, the organization capitalized on the government theme 'Panorama Netherlands'. In it, the College of Government Advisors (CRa) encouraged looking at the layout of our country for the next 30 years up to 2050 with an overarching view. At the Concrete Event, the theme "Panorama Concrete, the Deepening" builds on last year's outcomes. The event remains focused on the four topics:

• Climate Adaptation
• Energy Transition
• Urbanization
• Circularity

Furthermore, the Concrete Agreement will make a substantive contribution to Concrete Day programming. What must we do together to achieve the set goals? How will the Concrete Agreement actually get hands and feet? Who is the problem owner? And who pays?

It is not only the program committees that are concerned with the fulfillment of the Concrete Event. This year, visitors also have a say in the program!
