Weber Beamix in more sustainable jacket

The urgency to deal more sustainably with plastic is becoming at our society widely. This is also the case at Weber Beamix. Together with packaging supplier Nordfolien and Searious Business, we started a process to make our plastic use more sustainable.

We have been using 50% recyclate in our plastic bags since 2018 and have switched to using 100% recycled plastic for our other packaging, such as buckets. After extensive testing, we are proud to be the first construction supplier in the Netherlands to increase the proportion of recyclate in our bags from 50% to 70%. This will provide an additional avoidance of some 100 tons of plastic waste on an annual basis and thus a significant reduction in our plastic footprint.
