15 projects stand a chance to win the Future Prize
For the Concrete Prize 2021, a total of 15 projects have been nominated by the expert jury across the 6 categories for a chance to win this prestigious prize. One of these nominees also has a chance of winning the Future Prize. The presentation of the Concrete Award will take place live on Thursday, November 18, during the Concrete Event at the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam.
Nominated construction projects
Entry for the Concrete Prize was open to construction projects realized in the past 2 years in the Netherlands or by a Dutch company abroad. Of the total 56 entries, the following 15 projects were nominated, divided into 6 categories:

- Eindhoven Northwest, Eindhoven
- Intake pumping station Bergsche Maas, Hank

- Bridge 4 'Rondje Weerwater' (part of the two circular bridges at Floriade Park), Almere

Who will be the winner of the Future Prize?
For the nominated projects, there is a new prize since 2019: the Future Prize. For this, students vote for the project that most appeals to them from all the nominees. Voting is open from Wednesday, Nov. 3 through Nov. 10. The winner of the Future Prize will be announced on Thursday, November 18, during the Concrete Event 2021 at the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam.
