LiemarX at Snep Exclusive Metals

Snep Exclusieve Metalen from Eindhoven has been using our ERP software for 7 years. A year ago, the company switched from Liemar 7.0 to LiemarX. Co-owner John van Rooij: "Liemar's ERP package is user-friendly. Its use provides a lot of insight into work in progress, pre and post calculation. The search function is also very handy. Within Snep, the package has really taken a central place. Without Liemar we don't do it anymore.

'Until 2014, we didn't have a good ERP package. We knew we had to take steps in that regard. Jan had approached me several times at that time in a pleasant way, so one and one was soon two.' Snep worked primarily in Excel, so the implementation of Liemar 7.0 went smoothly. 'Liemar is good at using Excel to import data and with part of the package we just started with a clean slate. Step by step, we started using the ERP package on a larger scale.'

A year ago, Snep made the switch to LiemarX. 'Everything we used in 7.0 has been preserved. The transition to LiemarX was quite drastic, but we were out of the starting blocks pretty quickly. Now we are preparing to expand the package.'

Planning module

Snep works with its own calculation package. The data coming from that must be imported into the pre-calculation in LiemarX. "We tell them what we want and the people at Liemar provide the right link. With the push of a button, we can then start using the planning module from the pre-calculation.'

'As with all systems, the results depend on filling them. So far, as a relatively small company, we like the fact that we only purchase what we need and use. In the coming years we may start using more modules of the package.'
