The Eindhoven consultancy firm Van de Laar joins Oosterhoff today as the eleventh company. This gives both companies a better basis for further innovation in the built environment in Brabant and the surrounding area.
Van de Laar is an independent consulting firm for building structures that has been in the business since 1956. Its 30 employees work in the heart of the Eindhoven metropolitan region, which is characterized by its high-tech and manufacturing industry. "In that vibrant area we see an awful lot of opportunities for special and innovative projects," says Gerard Doos, who, together with Maaike van der Windt, forms Oosterhoff's board.
Both are therefore extremely happy with the cooperation. Maaike van der Windt adds: "Van de Laar has its own image and a strong reputation in Brabant. We want it to stay that way. Within Oosterhoff we join forces to bring real innovation with progressive concepts and products. In this way we want to contribute to sustainable working and living environments in Brabant that touch, inspire and surprise. In addition, Van de Laar's affiliation offers the opportunity to further optimize business processes and achieve more synergy benefits."
At Oosterhoff, in addition to Van de Laar, ten other consulting and engineering firms work together in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Leon Mevis, director at Van de Laar, is looking forward to getting further acquainted with all colleagues and services and products within Oosterhoff. "We think that, with our Brabant roots and years of experience, we are a very good addition to Oosterhoff, which is an absolute topper in the architectural consulting world. We see it as an opportunity to grow further and participate in integral and groundbreaking projects."
