Take advantage of early bird rate for the Bouwrun until March 5

On Thursday, April 23, it will be the very first edition of the Bouwrun by Willemen. The location is the domain of Hofstade, with its beach and unspoiled nature the perfect place for this running race cum networking event for construction professionals. The early bird rates are still valid until March 5, 2020.

Bouwrun by Willemen is the Flemish brother of Batirun by Franki, which has become a fixture in the Liège region with around a thousand participants each year. The initiative of construction company Franki from the Willemen Group saw the light of day eight years ago as 'Frankirun'. Due to its great success, the concept was adopted by Running Nation from the People First Group as early as the second edition. The latter changed the name to Batirun by Franki in 2013.

So the same People First Group is now bringing the Walloon success formula to Flanders. The teams consist of three runners, with the first runner covering 9 kilometers, the second joining after three kilometers and the third running the last three kilometers. The team that reaches the finish line together first is the winner of the Bouwrun. After the race, the athletes and their spectators can participate in a walking dinner and networking event. The eighth Batirun by Franki will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2020 and will once again take place on the grounds of the Academy Robert-Louis Dreyfus in Liège. www.batirun.be
