Basic "sustainable concrete repair" training for workers

In cooperation with Syntra Business PXL in Genk, FEREB vzw is organizing basic training in sustainable concrete repair. This basic training is aimed primarily at companies with workers who are little or no experience have in concrete repair but also to people who want to become proficient in it and are looking for work in this exciting and forward-looking industry.

This one-day basic training consists of a theoretical explanation in the morning and a practical course in the afternoon.

The price for this basic training is 451 € excl. VAT per participant (min. 4 participants). Each participant receives a participation certificate.

This cost includes the training, syllabus, lunch and certificate. SME companies can receive a refund of part of the training cost through the SME portfolio.

In addition, Syntra PXL and FEREB also offer the possibility of a one-day "certified" basic training to follow . The participants will face the same course but it will be followed by a theoretical and practical test. The workpiece is submitted by an external lab to an adhesion test necessary to assess the durability of the repair. In this way, the worker's acquired competencies are substantiated with respect to third parties, e.g., warranty insurance.  

Each participant who passes both the theoretical and practical portions of the test will receive a certificate.

 The cost for this certified training is 751 € excluding VAT and includes the price for the training, syllabus, theoretical and practical test, lunch and certificate. SME companies can receive a refund of part of the training cost through the SME portfolio.

This basic training with certificate is no equivalent or substitute of the BENOR certificate awarded by the BCCA, but rather intended for use in concrete repairs in the private sector.

This basic training may be considered an introduction on the course and related exams for acquiring the Benor certificate at BCCA.
