WTCB, VCB, and FEREB are organizing on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to noon a webinar themed "Monitoring for Sustainable Management of Concrete Structures."
In the context of sustainable management (maintenance and repair) of concrete structures, monitoring is an important tool. Indeed, a large variety of innovative monitoring techniques allow, often remotely, to follow up the damage state of the structures and measure a.o. deformations, vibrations, stresses and environmental conditions. Moreover, one can also check the durability of concrete repairs carried out.
During this webinar, experts, each from their field, will share their practical experience regarding the monitoring and managing concrete structures. This includes the most innovative techniques, such as the use of optical fibers, satellites, laser, drones as well as cathodic protection. You will soon receive an invitation to this with the detailed program. You can register by clicking on this link.
The language of the webinar is Dutch.
With the VISiv trajectory "New technologies, products and insights for sustainable repair of concrete structures", supported by the Agency for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the partner organizations want to increase the professional knowledge and skills of Belgian companies (contractors, study bureaus and architects), active in the concrete repair sector, so that a sustainable and qualitative result is obtained.
