Thinking, working and producing differently

PreCastOffice software automates at three levels: the management level, the design level and the production level. At the management level, PlanDesk seamlessly links projects, quotes, orders, freight, deliveries and invoicing. Furthermore, the drawing applications provide tools to smoothly design floors, beams, columns, stairs and other precast elements. In this phase, the necessary analyses and calculations also come into play. PlanDesk also controls production and production planning, as well as stock management and logistics.

Within the design, calculation and analysis section, PreCastOffice now has product-specific modules in addition to the well-known applications for floors. For example, AutoStairs allows the parametric calculation and design of straight staircases. Recently, i-Theses also developed AutoBeCo, a design module for beams and columns with integrated BIM functionalities and full integration of design, production, logistics and invoicing.

In many concrete manufacturing companies, the often inadequate communication between different departments and processes in particular puts a brake on work. Too often, separate software packages are still used, aimed solely and specifically at design, production or administration. As a result, many tasks and data have to be entered twice.
