3 days, 2 conferences, 1 location: the Progress Group headquarters in Brixen, South Tyrol
From September 30 through October 2, 2026, no fewer than two conferences took place at the Progress Group headquarters in Brixen, with a total of 500 participants from around the world. Each of the two events had its own focus. On Wednesday and Thursday morning, the “Progress Group Summit” centered on automation and digitization in precast concrete and rebar production. The international audience gained new insights during panel discussions led by renowned industry speakers and had the opportunity to discover innovations in mechanical engineering and software through guided tours and technical presentations. All of this was accompanied by ample opportunities to exchange industry-related ideas and network. On Thursday afternoon and Friday, the Green Code construction system with precast concrete elements took center stage. During the “Green Code Precast Days,” architects, designers, project developers, and building owners found new inspiration for sustainable, fast, and efficient construction.

During the “Progress Group Summit,” experts from around the world exchanged ideas on the current state of affairs and the future of automated and digitized precast concrete and rebar production. The program focused on successful industrial applications with measurable results. What made this event special was that companies from all over the world shared their innovative solutions with the participants—including insights into rebar automation, digital concrete technology, quality control, and the sustainable production of precast concrete elements.

The second major focus, the “Green Code Precast Days,” centered on the major challenges facing the construction industry. Industry professionals were shown solutions that make it possible to build sustainable buildings more affordably and quickly. Among the projects presented, Torre Parko, near Milan, attracted particular attention. This 21-story residential building was constructed using the innovative Green Code precast concrete elements from Progress AG. The Green Code construction system excels particularly in terms of sustainability, cost savings, and quality of life. Green Code buildings are energy-efficient and long-lasting, resulting in a smaller carbon footprint. Furthermore, the innovative construction method enables a short construction timeline and significantly reduces construction and operating costs. The integrated technologies also improve the indoor climate and quality of life.
On Thursday afternoon and Friday, experts discussed key topics in the industry: from construction planning and circular productivity, to further applications of precast concrete elements, and the efficient and sustainable Green Code building system.

In addition to practical, industry-focused presentations by internal and external experts, the conferences also offered a variety of hands-on experiences during tours of the Progress Group’s company grounds. These included guided tours of the company’s own precast concrete plant and the production hall for bending rebar, the machine shop halls, the software department, the 3D concrete printing department, and past showcase projects in South Tyrol, such as the new headquarters of the Zingerle Group in Schabs and the district heating plant in Vahrn.
Brixen itself also emerged as an innovation hub. The Progress Group’s headquarters provided the ideal setting for professional exchanges, complemented by South Tyrolean hospitality, a mountain panorama, and regional specialties.
