Registration for Concrete Prize 2019 is open

On Wednesday, November 13, the presentation of the biennial Concrete Award will take place during the Concrete Award Dinner. From now on it is possible for everyone to submit responsible, future-oriented, valuable and/or inspiring projects for this leading award in the concrete sector.

Categories

There are six possible categories in this 21st edition of the Concrete Prize, namely: Civil Construction, Residential Construction, Nonresidential Construction, Existing Construction, Frontier and Circular. Each project further automatically competes for the Future Prize. In doing so, students vote for their favorite project among the nominees.
"With the new Circular category, we are fulfilling the call from society and government for more attention to sustainability," said Chantal Mülders, who coordinates the 2019 Concrete Award from the Concrete Association.

Jury

The jury consists of professionals from the entire construction industry, namely jury chairman Henri van der Kamp (Van Gelder Groep), Ronel Dielissen (Mebin), Reinald Top (Zwarts & Jansma Architects), Marten Klein (Ingenieursbureau Gemeente Amsterdam), Aad van der Horst (TU Delft), Alfons van Woensel (Struyk Verwo Infra), Rudi Roijakkers (ABT) and Dick van Klaveren (Rijkswaterstaat). The jury is looking for projects that are more broadly scalable in the Dutch context in order to increase knowledge and expertise throughout the Dutch concrete sector. In this way, the project makes a substantial contribution to Dutch concrete expertise.
